WAINFLEET United travelled to Sutton on Sea to play Sutton Rovers in a friendly encounter, and came away with a 3-3 draw.

Wainfleet made a good start and took the lead, with a goal scored by Tom Jenkins.

However, Sutton fought back and scored twice to take the lead, and the score was 2-1 at the interval.

At the start of the second half, Sutton scored again to go 3-1 up.

Wainfleet rallied strongly and they got a goal back when Michael Parnham scored.

A few minutes later, Wainfleet drew level at 3-3 when Gavin Howitt scored.

Skegness FC 3

WAINFLEET United travelled to play Skegness FC in a friendly encounter on Thursday, and went down by a score of 3-1.

Skegness led by 1-0 at half time, and in the second half, scored two more goals to lead 3-0.

Wainfleet hit back late on in the second half, and scored a consolation goal to make the score 3-1, through Andy Carter.
