In the Sid Dennis and Sons Ltd Division One, the top four teams met this week.

The WMC Steelers took on third placed Ex service 501s in a high scoring game with 3 x 16 dart legs and a 15 darter.

The Steelers raced into a 5-1 lead. They took the first two doubles to lead 9-1 before the 501s pair of L Woods and C Fletcher took the last pairs to make a respectable score of 9-3,

Fourth placed Wainfleet Outsiders shared the points with second placed Ex Service Cobras, The Outsiders had the edge in the singles, taking a 4-2 lead, but then found themselves 6-4 down before captain L Yates and D Tuplin stepped up to get the draw and keep their championship hopes alive.

Basement team WMC Aces were away to Ex Service Sports and almost got their first win of the season, locked together at five all, going into the last pairs.

The Sports old boys of G Froud and R Mciver just held on to give the sports a narrow 7-5 victory.

Liberal Lads took on Barkaham arms and looked comfy, as they led 6-2, but the Barkham got their act together, taking the last two doubles to force the draw.

In the Sid Dennis and Sons Ltd Division Two, Seaview Boys lost the first singles to Welcome Hillbillies but any notions of an upset were soon dispelled as the Seaview took all the rest of the singles and all the doubles to run out 11-1 winners and open up a four point gap at the top of the table.

Second placed Ex Service C took on Liberal Adams Family and the Ex Service looked to be in command as they led 5-3.

But The Adams Family foght back to win 7-5 with captain R Collins and J Jenkins getting the important last double.

Liberal Us defeated Finnigans by the same score, again winning the last two doubles to secure the points.

Royal Oak travelled to the Vine A and again came from 5-1 down to get the win 7-5.

Cricket Club entertained Vine and raced into a 4-2 lead,

After the singles, they took the first two doubles before losing the last, but ran out 8-4 winners.

Seaview head the way in this one with a four point advantage, but its close for second spot with four points seperating the next six teams - Ex Service C, Finnegans, Vine A, Liberal Adams Family, Royal Oak, Liberal Us.
