Surprise win for Liberal Us

In the Sid Dennis and Sons Ltd Division Two darts league, Champions Seaview took on Liberal Us, who had a surprise 7-5 win.

Ex Service C beat Cricket Club by the same score to maintain their challenge for second spot. But favourites to bag runners-up spot must be Liberal Adams Family, who gained a narrow 7-5 win away at Royal Oak and now sit one point behind Ex Service, but they crucially one game in hand.

Finnegans kept their interest in the second spot with a narrow 7-5 win away at the Welcome Hillbillies ,and in the in-house derby at The Vine, it was The Vine who came away with the spoils thanks to another 7-5 win with N Coley hitting 180 and M Spence hitting 174. It was a remarkable night of darts with all games going 7-5 to away teams.

At the Liberal Club, it was the league’s turn to host the inter league finals, and some cracking darts were thrown. Congratulations must go to the Skegness Singles League on their win over Mablethorpe in the Butlin Cup and also to Old Leake for their last leg victory over Coningsby.

Finally a big well done to Mark Foreman of the Skegness Singles League on retaining his champion of champions title.
