Victories for Boston and Grantham retained the status quo at the top of the South Lincolnshire & Border League Premier Division, with Boston seven points ahead of their rivals.
Lindum Ramblers and Bourne 2nd stay in third and fourth.
Lindum beat Stamford by nine wickets but Bourne were denied a game after Skegness 2nd conceded.
Scott Elleray claimed a hat trick in his four for 20 for Boston while Neil Stevenson took seven for 59 in Grantham’s win over Sleaford 2nd and Will Wright moved from Lindum’s 1st XI to hit 113 for Ramblers, the day’s only century.
Welby’s good run continued with a win over Moulton Harrox amd Belton Park beat Long Sutton.
Billingborough 2nd and Spalding 2nd remain locked on equal points at the top of Division One following Billingborough’s victory over Boston 2nd while Grantham 2nd trail Spalding, who were without a game, by just three points.
Heckington moved into fourth with a 10 wicket win over Friskney and Baston beat Long Sutton 2nd, thanks in part to Ian Morris’s six wicket haul.
The crucial game at the top of Division Two turned out to be the only game in the league to be curtailed by the weather. Playing at Freiston, Lindum 3rd were bowled out for 186 with five balls of the innings to go but heavy rain meant that no further play was possible.
This leaves Lindum 10 points adrift of Freiston but with a game in hand.
Claypole’s title hopes took a knock following defeat by Belton Park 2nd but Pinchbeck moved up to fourth after beating Spalding 3rd. Lower down the table, Burgh & District opened up clear water over the bottom two with victory over Timberland.
Danny Ashley had a good day for Grantham 3rd, hitting 66 runs and taking five Boston 3rd wickets.
