BEACHLANDS stopped Split it Again picking up another eight points in round five of the Wednesday late doubles ten pin bowling league.

Helped by a 550 series from Dave Stevenson (Beachlands), the Splits were held to a 4-4 draw which saw their league lead slip to just six points.

Apart from that, all other matches were won by eight points with Andy Alexander (Snakes on a Lane) taking high game score of the season with a 226 scratch and Dave Stevenson staking his claim to the high scratch series prize with a 550.

Rumbling Rollers took an automatic eight points from their bye.
