Skegness first team plays in the Lincolnshire ECB Premier League, while the seconds compete in the South Lincs and Border League.

In addition they are running youth teams in the local leagues for ages seven to 15 as they prepare young players for senior cricket.

To develop the youngsters’ skills the club hold Monday evening sessions, where budding Joe Roots and Charlotte Edwards are put through their paces by coaches co-ordinated by Reece Brant.

“This is a great opportunity for young cricketers to learn the skills of the game,” said Reece.

“We are grateful to our sponsors, Fresh Fitness, for their continued support as we look to expand on this offer to the local youth.”
