New snooker competition for Skegness

Churchills wine and sports bar is the venue for a new snooker competition, sponsored by Greene King Breweries.

The competition’s curtain raiser will see 12 local players battling it out against one another in a closed event, on Wednesday, December 5 with £500 prize money on offer and money and trophies going to first, second and third placed competitors.

The opening event should create interest to local players in the area who may fancy their chances in future ‘open’ events scheduled for January, when the new Skegness Premier League Snooker league gets underway.
