The Alford bike ace was in action at Lincoln Motor Club, putting on a show in front of a home crowd and completing three laps of 12 tricky sections along a steep wooded hillside.

Emma was once again in top form, producing a faultless ride to take the win with no point deduction, making it two wins from two rounds.

“Today has been a test of my mental strength and I am pleased with my performance,” Emma said after collection her trophy on the podium. “To ride all day without a single mistake is difficult because some of the sections were not easy and I am very happy with this win.

“I have been training hard on the natural rocky sections typical of the SSDT, so to ride this well out of the water and back on the steep banks is great.”

Now Emma’s focus will shift to the Scottish Six Days Trial.

“I am excited to prepare my bike and get organised to take on the Scottish highlands,” she continued.

Last year Emma was best lady and finished in 43rd position north of the border.

“I have been training hard for this event.
