SKEGNESS Sub-Aqua Club has invited would-be divers to come and give the sport a go.

The club meets every Wednesday evening at the Embassy indoor swimming pool in Skegness from 7.30pm to 9pm.

“You don’t have to be a brilliant swimmer,” said a club spokesperson. “We have instructors that will take great care of you.

“Age is no barrier as long as you are at least 12-years-old.

“Come and see us and arrange a ‘Try-Dive’.

“All you need to bring when you do your ‘Try-Dive’ is your swimming things, towel and old t-shirt.

“If you enjoy your first dive you can book a second and then you may decide to become a member of our club and then do the BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) training.

“Then you will be able to dive in designated lakes and the sea here and abroad, where you can see wrecks, rocks and sea life.

“Go on, take th eplunge,” they added.

A Try-Dive session will cost £10. For more information, or to arrange a Try-Dive, call Ray Carlisle on 07795 094 240.
