There was a top-of-the-table clash in the Sid Dennis and sons Ltd Division One of the Darts League as champions Marine A took on Wainfleet outsiders.

However, a predictable 6-4 victory was played out for the champions who have now got 14 consecutive wins.

A tough basement battle took place at the New Park club as Rangers took on Countryman.

The home team who were searching for their first league win raced into a 4-1 lead with the last set of singles to go and deservedly got their win, taking three of the last four to run out 7-3 winners.

New Park had Ray McIvor 121, 123, 125, 140, Jon Molson 121, 125, 2 x 140, and Graham Fitton 123, 135, 140 on target while the Ccountryman’s Darrell Webb Hit 125, 140 and a 19-dart leg and Ken Wilson hit 2 x 121, 2 x 140 and a 16 darter.

Barkham Arms could not muster a team, and gave the result to Boathouse 501s.

In the Sid Dennis and Sons Ltd Division Two Seaview Raiders ended their campaign with an 8-2 thumping over the Highwayman Hustlers.

Despite Carla Smith hitting 4 x 100 and a 72 finish, including a singles win over Raiders captain Steven Emsen,the Raiders could not steal the win.

Peter East also hit 4 x 125 for the Raiders.

WMC Amigos took on Boathouse Baracudas and led from pillar to post recording a 6-4 win, with David Reding 121, 140 and Gareth Jowett 125, 140.

Baracuddas had Paula Swain 4 x 121 and Mark Saunders 2 x 131, 140 on target.

Finnigans, champions in Division Two, took on Railway Cobras and ran out comfortable 7-3 winners .

Russ Millar scored 140, 160, and Scott Millar, with an 18-dart leg being the pick of the high scorers for the home side.

Presentation night will take place at the Marine on October 24, with a singles and blind draw pairs event and all ladies entering the singles will receive 100 start in the singles.

The Marine Boathouse held its fourth event in the £10,000 series and another Lincolnshire player took the honours and his place in the finals weekend -

Week five takes place this Saturday, October 18, entry is £15 online £20 on the day and you only have to win one week to take your place in the finals.

The Winter League will start on October 24 with Knockout Cup preliminaries and Liberal Adams Family v Vine and Welcome Hillbillies v Cricket Club.

All other teams have a bye, and league fixtures will start the following week.
