SKEGNESS Table Tennis League held its end-of- season awards presentation last week after the end of the current 12-week run.

A total of thirty five adult and junior players signed up to this season’s programme with no differentiation between the two categories in terms of play.

The format used in terms of a single venue and weekly promotion/relegation through the divisions has been a popular one for a number of years and as always the better juniors benefited enormously from playing with their senior counterparts.

Senior winner, not for the first time, was Scott Sykes with a season total of 71.05 points. Runner-up in this section was Steve Chamberlain with 65.8 points.

The Junior winner was Jack Bradley with a total of 67.5 points and the runner-up with a final week’s total of seven points giving him 64.13 points overall was Scott Raistrick, marginally ahead of Matthew Ford who pushed him to the last game of the last week.

The top ten positions were - 1, Scott Sykes 71.05; 2, Jack Bradley 67.5; 3, Steve Chamberlain 65.8; 4, Scott Raistrick 64.13; 5, Matthew Ford 63.78; 6, Simon Raistrick 61.75; 7, Gavin Read 61.55; 8, Jake Laming 60.35; 9, Mark Chamberlain 59.91; 10, Jordan Potts 58.5.
