Local racing driver Josh Rayman headed to Snetterton last weekend for the second round of the British 125cc Superkart Championship.
He was returning to the Norfolk circuit after posting some promising session times there at last year’s Superkart Grand Prix.
Despite a frustrating practice day with chassis issues hampering track time, the team made progress on improving the handling of the kart.
In the first race, shortened by a chain failure half way through the session, Josh posted a time that placed him 16th on the 24-kart grid for the second race.
Running as high as 15th on circuit, Rayman brought the kart home for the first time this season in 19th place; losing time after a spin in the treacherously wet conditions.
Josh continues his season at Cadwell Park this coming Sunday, working to build on the positives taken from Snetterton.
