Skegness Town travel to league leaders Lincoln United Reserves on Saturday with most of their squad available for selection.

Cricketers Sean Chamberlain, Rick Lovelace and Jamie Epton can now turn their attention to winter sport having completed their ECB Premier League season at Richmond Drive.

But one face missing from the line-up at Ashby Avenue will be the influential defender Liam Parker who is unavailable.

Despite this absentee Town boss Nick Chapman remains upbeat about the Lilywhites’ chances after Saturday’s 6-1 victory over Heckington.

“After the disappointment of Wednesday night when we felt we dropped two points by not performing, I was delighted with our response.

“Heckington must have felt positive after their recent good results, but it was imperative that we won to keep pressure on the leading pack,” he said.

“We have found goals hard to come by in recent weeks and so it was pleasing that both strikers got off the mark with a brace each.”

Kick-off at Ashby Avenue will be 3pm.

Meanwhile Skegness Town Reserves are at home to Wyberton in the Boston League Premier Division (kick-off 2.30pm).
