All the Skegness swimmers obtained best times from the meet, and some outstanding results were obtained with Isaac, Alex and Casey receiving speeding tickets for swimming faster than the cut-off time for their grades.

Isaac won gold in the 100m individual medley and 50m freestyle, both in the 10 years B grade events.

He also collected a silver medal in the 50m butterfly C grade event.

Kyle won silver in the 50m freestyle 14 years grade C event and Thomas collected a silver in the 50m breast stroke and a bronze in the 50m freestyle 14 years C grade.

Temira received a gold in the 14 years C grade 50m freestyle event and Alex went on to finish the competition with a bronze in the boys’ 13 years C grade 50m backstroke.

A smaller squad of swimmers took part in the Rob Welbourn Meet, hosted by the Deepings Swimming Club.

Alex Parker and Isaac Banham achieved PBs but Lucy Parker and Kayleigh Alexander went one further and achieved a silver and bronze in the 200m breaststroke age 10 group respectively.

The team train on a Monday (6-7pm), Thursday (6-7pm) and a Friday (6-8pm) at the Embassy Pool.
