Skegness RFC are the champions
Skegness Rugby Club have been crowned champions of the Midlands 5 East (North).
Saturday’s 22-7 home victory against Woodhouse Giants confirmed the title, and promotion to the Midlands 4.
Skegness now sit on top of the table with 51 points from their 12 matches played, with second-placed Keyworth 12 points behind and unable to catch them with two games left to go.
They will return to action on March 25, when they travel to face Bingham.
