Skegness Motor Cycle Club holds AGM

Skegness Motor Cycle Club held its first Annual General Meeting at its new Clubroom in The Ship Inn, Skegness, last Wednesday.

The vice-chairman, Peter Fosterm welcomed everyone to the meeting in the absence of Dave Tellefsun due to illness.

Bryan Rust gave his report as President, and he thanked all club members who had supported events during the year, putting on displays at shows at Mablethorpe, BMF, Donington Park and Newark.

Nancy Wilson was thanked for her work as secretary and Natalie Grice Rutter for her work as treasurer,

There was no report from the chairman but the secretary gave her report about the events during the year,

Natalie as treasurer gave her financial report which had been “alright during the year”.

The election of officers took place as follows - President - Bryan Rust; Chairman - Lorrainne Barker; Vice Chairman - Nick Barker; Secretary - Nancy Wilson; Treasurer - Natalie Grice Rutter; P.R.O. - Nancy Wilson; Vice-Presidents - Tunny Tagg, Ron Wilson Ken Nicholson.

The programme for 2014 was planned. This has some different items planned, so members are advices to come along on January 8 and take part in this 55-year-old club in Skegness.

A bikers day is to be held in July at the Ship Inn and the annual dinner dance will be held at the Suncastle on January 25 when the Team Manager from Honda is the guest speaker. Tickets are available from the secretary on 01507 490308 or for club details.

Bike Nights are to be held at Trunch Lane, Chapel st Leonards again, and will be on the Lincs Bike Nights programme.
