Open air swimming pools, paddling pools, and beach chalets opened across the district in time for this Bank Holiday week.
East Lindsey District Council’s portfolio holder for culture leisure and tourism, Coun Adam Grist, hopes it will pave the way for a busy season to come.
“With the recent spell of warmer weather we are hopeful that the winter is at last behind us, allowing us to concentrate on the forthcoming, important, tourism season,” he said.
“Many local businesses rely on the seasonal trade for their livelihood so it is important to draw visitors to the area and offer them a reason to come to the coast for the benefit of the local economy and to support the creation of jobs,” he added.
The Embassy outdoor pool will open every weekend from 10am to 4pm until June 29 when it opens daily from 10am to 6pm.
