Bowls enthusiasts from all across the country made their way to Skegness to the last EBF Bowls Tournament of the season.

The six-day competition took place at Skegness North Greens on North Parade, with nearly 500 players from around the country taking part in the popular annual tournament.

The event was broken down into three separate categories - open singles, open pairs and open rinks of three. There were a mixture of local players taking part along with competitors from Dorset, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire.

The tournament, which was sponsored by the Skegness, East Coast and Wolds Hospitality Association (SECWHA) and The Bowls Shop, was followed by a presentation which saw winners and runners-up presented awards by the Mayor of Skegness Councillor Jim Carpenter and Mayoress Mrs Kath Cullen.
