Bowls enthusiasts from across the country made their way to Skegness as East Lindsey District Council hosted the last EBF Bowls Tournament of the season.

The six-day competition, which took place at Skegness North Greens on North Parade and South Greens on South Parade, saw over 400 players from around the country come together to take part in the popular annual tournament.

The event was broken down into three separate categories - open singles, open pairs and open rinks of three.

There were a mixture of local players taking part along with competitors from Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Cambridgeshire.

The tournament was sponsored by the Skegness, East Coast and Wolds Hospitality Association (SECWHA) and The Bowls Shop.

It was followed by a presentation when winners and runners-up were presented awards by The Mayor of Skegness Coun George Saxon and Chairman of SECWHA Nigel Tett.
