Judo trio return with five medals

Three members of the Skegness and Seathorne Judo clubs entered the Bushido Za-zen International Judo Competition at High Wycombe Judo Centre - returning with five medals.

Mark Mason achieved two gold medals, the first in the under 100kg class, winning all of his contests by ippon.

The second was won against much stiffer competition in the dan grade open, where he also beat all the competition.

Dean Harmston achieved two bronze medals.

His first was also in the under 100kg class, where his losses were only to dan grade opposition.

His second was in the kyu grade open.

Ashley Windle achieved a bronze medal in the over 100kg class against some very large opposition, only losing out to Dean for a medal in the kyu grade open.
