2014 Ladies British Trials Champion Emma Bristow contested round five of the Expert British Trials Championship in Wales on her MRS Sherco at the weekend finishing in 10th position before she headed off to Spain for the Ladies World Trials Championship.
On a warm clear day the event was contested over a variety of terrain offered in the 12 sections which had to be ridden three times.
Emma said: “Today has been a good event and one I have enjoyed. If I am honest I feel as though my results should have been better as my two opening lap scores were higher than I wanted.
“On my final lap my score came down considerable but it was too late as the damage had been done. Section six took three five mark penalties on a hazard I feel I should have conquered”.
“The MRS Sherco has once again performed well giving me the confidence in my riding that I will take to the World Championship. With the Ladies British Championship already in my hands for another year I now am totally focussed on my biggest challenge which is the Ladies World Trials Championship”.
“Having already become a World Champion in SuperEnduro this year it would be the icing on the cake for me if I can add the Trials World Championship to it and also reward Sherco, MRS and all my other sponsors for the commitment they have shown to me”.
“Thank you to everyone who is helping me to achieve my goals in life.”
