Hardy Skegness Coasters members hit the hills of north east Lincolnshire - as they took on the Gruesome Twosome.
The event is staged in the village of Swallow, near Caistor, where competitors take on the gruelling 13.1 miles of trail, track, ploughed fields, hills, forest and road, battling against strong winds and some interesting countryside odours.
The Gruesome Twosome half marathon is aptly named as pairs of runners are required to start and finish the course together.
Five Coasters teams took on the challenge while Suzy Wain completed solo as her partner had to pull out at the last minute - but she managed to finish the course in an impressive 2 hrs 13 mins.
Coaster Ben Evison teamed up with Wolds Veterans Running Club member Gary Thomas, and they made a great partnership as they came home in second place in 1hr 21 mins.
Results: Ben Evison & Gary Thomas (Wolds Vets) 1.21-24, Suzy Wain 2.13-27, Jane Upsall & Martin Ross 2.28-33, Jackie Rhodes & Michael Hawkesford 2.34-42, Debbie Cussons & Julie Hawkesford 2.39-12, Susan Smith & Sharon Wilson-Leary 2.45-26.
