Coastal gymnasts scoop a clutch of medals

A GROUP of talented young gymnasts managed to snatch up lots of medals when they entered a recent competition.

The Coastal Gymnastic Club, who train every Saturday and Tuesday at the Skegness Grammar School, managed to win the medals when they entered the Lincolnshire Schools Floor and Vault Competition.

Gymnasts of both primary and secondary school level entered the competition, where all of the coastal club’s youngsters worked very hard to achieve their winning standard on the day.

“All of the gymnasts trained very hard and performed very well in the competition and I would like congratulate all of the gymnasts that competed, most notably Grace Stafford, who was amazing at the event winning a silver medal in a very competitive under 11 girls’ class,” said Sarah Bailey for the club. “I also wish to thank all of the parents of the children that attended both competitions for their support in the preparation and for the prompt arrival of the gymnasts to the competition on the day,” added Sarah.
