Reflecting on a fantastic season, ladies trials bike champion Emma Bristow of Alford has given her take on her 2014 season.

Her season with team Sherco included the SuperEnduro and Trials World Champion title, the Ladies British and Arena Trials Champion and the award of Best Lady Rider SSDT.

“2014 is the year I finally achieved what I have been working so hard for over the last few seasons in becoming a motorcycle World Champion,” said Emma.

“After taking the SuperEnduro title at my first attempt I then changed my focus to
Trials to take the coveted World Crown and just over 12 months ago, I threw my legs over an Enduro machine for the very first time in my life and to take a world title was way beyond my wildest dreams,” she said.

Emma believes she took the Ladies World Trials title by exhibiting her on-going commitment to the sport.

She added: “I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and given me the opportunity to compete and taste success at the highest level.

“The three-year contract with Sherco allows me to focus on achieving more success for both myself and the brand.”
