With Boston and Skegness EBA Bowls League leaders Foreshore on a bye week, this gave teams a chance to play catch up.

Burton House visited Boston BC and gained an 8-2 victory which now puts them level on points with the top team.

Mick Asplen and Jonathan West skipped winning rinks for Burton House whilst Arnold Bennett’s rink replied for Boston BC.

Stickney entertained Suncastle and, with a nearly full-strength team, claimed an 8-2 home victory.

Richard Maxwell and Roy Rout’s rinks outweighing Richard King’ rink win for a struggling Suncastle team.

Sleaford Road also keeps in contact in the three-way title tussle with a 10-0 victory at home to West End BC.

In Division Two, Freiston have ceased the intiative in the title race after an excellent 8-2 away win against Horncastle.

Skips Mick Stray and Ivan Dilley just outweighed George Lancaster’s win for Horncastle.

Kirton travelled to Skegness Town and came away with all the points.

Barry Bagley, Stan Lawrence and Dave Gill were the successful skips.

Forbes Road hosted Horncastle and managed one rink skipped by R. Hulley but P. Oliver and Steve Boucher clinched an 8-2 victory for the visitors.

The competition section finals will be held at Sibsey BC on Sunday, from 9am.
