Jacobs’ cracking innings seals comfortable win

AN UNBEATEN half century from David Jacobs secured another comfortable win for division two leaders Skegness seconds at Heckington.

The seasiders skittled Heckington out for 119, with Sam Richardson picking up 4-32 off his seven overs.

Sean Chamberlain and his brother Mark were also among the wickets as the visitors wrapped things up at the end of the 41st over.

In response, Skegness took just 26 overs to clinch the win, with Jacobs batting throughout the entire innings.

Skegness are now 39 clear at the top of the table, with five games remaining.
