Skegness Seconds got back to winning ways with an 18 point winning draw away at Billingborough seconds.
Highlights of a 214-9 scoreline for the seasiders, up first to bat, were yet another solid knock of 75 from Richie Hewitt, and a pleasing maiden half century in Skegness colours for Hrushi Vyas.
A three figure opening partnership for Billingborough, between Chessum (67) and Stanley (43), threatened to upset the apple cart.
But once the openers had been dismissed, a disciplined bowling and fielding performance in which Hewitt was once again to the fore with 4-46, aided by keeper/skipper Alistair Ainsworth with a total of four catches, the lid was shut on the home side who closed on 185-7.
The seconds have no game this weekend, but with three fixtures remaining, they stay in pole position at the top of the table.
