Friendly win for Lincs league side

Skegness Town players Liam Parker and Ben Davison were this week selected for the Lincolnshire League representative side, managed by former Lilywhites manager Paul Walden.

The pair joined the rest of the squad for a friendly against Lincoln United under the Ashby Avenue floodlights.

Davison was skipper for the night as the pick-of-the-league team romped home 6-1.

Two goals apiece for Skegness United’s Ryan O’Loughlin and Horncastle’s Tony Edwards and further strikes from Josh Nichol of Gainsborough Town and Jordan Walden (Skegness United) helped the squad to a confidence-boosting victory as they prepare for an assault on the national inter league trophy.
