Town return to face the basement boys

SKEGNESS Town are back in action this weekend with the visit of Sleaford Town Reserves to Burgh Road (kick-off 2pm).

The Lilywhites, like the rest of the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League, have enjoyed a festive break, due to both Christmas and New Year’s Eves falling on a Saturday in 2011.

They will be hoping to get back to winning ways against bottom-of-the-league Sleaford, who they beat by the odd goal in three last month.

Sleaford make the trip to the seaside on the back of an 8-0 thumping at Louth Town Reserves, whose first team game was called off on the morning of the match.

Joint managers Colin Trestrail and Nick Chapman will be hoping to choose from a fully fit squad as they look to improve on their current 11th place in the Lincolnshire League table.

Skegness Town Reserves travel to Old Doningtonians in the Boston League Premier Division.
