Skegness Town have been drawn away to Epworth Town in the last eight of the county cup.

Former Lincs Leaguers Epworth, who knocked out Skegness United in the previous round of the Lincolnshire FA Junior Cup, welcome Nick Chapman’s men to Wroot Road on Saturday (KO 1.30pm)

Epworth spent seven seasons in the Lincolnshire League between 1994 and 2001 and their highest finish was sixth.

They currently play their football in Division One of the TSW Printers Scunthorpe and District League, a competition in which they are unbeaten so far this season. They will be looking to make it a double of successes over Skegness opponents in the Lincs Junior Cup after beating United 3-0 in round four.

United, meanwhile, will return to Lincolnshire League action as they host CGB Humbertherm at Wainfleet Road (KO 2pm).

United will be looking to bounce back from their 5-0 defeat to rivals Town.

They currently sit ninth in the standings but could leapfrog their eigth-placed rivals with a victory as they trail by a solitary point.
