Skegness United’s pre-season training has kicked off nicley thanks to a new sponsorship deal.
The Skegness branch of The Nottingham Building Society have agreed to give the club £250 to purchase new bibs.
Branch Manager Adam Moore said: “We have a long and rich history of supporting our local communities and it’s great that we are able to sponsor our local football club.”
First team manager Gary Edgley added: “The equipment provided by the Nottingham will aid players from both the first team and the development squad in our training sessions and in match-day preparation.”
United began their pre-season friendlies with a 3-3 draw against Alford Town on Friday.
Luke Rayner, Jake Portas and Arron Scutt netted for the Skegness side in a hard-fought match, with United giving debuts to several new players, all of whom performed well on the night.
United will play their second warm-up match at Boston Town tomorrow (Thursday).
Kick off will be at 7.45pm.
