Spilsby Town B 2, Wainfleet 0

SPILSBY Town continued their impressive recent form with a win against local rivals Wainfleet.

Spilsby took the lead after 32 minutes when Jake Smith was put through by Tuplin, and from 20 yards hammered the ball past the Wainfleet keeper.

Just before half time, Spilsby went 2-0 up when Fitzgerald outpaced the away defence to send a pinpoint cross over to Smith, who powered a header into the top corner.

The second half was controlled by Spilsby, with goalkeeper Parry not called into action throughout the half.

Smith hit the post to deny him a hat trick, and the team should feel very pleased with this thoroughly well executed win.
