Six Skegness Town players have been named in the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League representative squad to face the Humber Premier League in the next round of the FA Inter League Cup.

The team, managed by Louth Town boss Paul Walden, has reached the last eight, vying for a chance to represent the cream of English amateur footballers in Europe.

Their next big test is a quarter-final against their neighbours from the Humber Premier at Lincoln United’s NTR Stadium on January 25.

Goalkeeper Ricky Lovelace, defenders Liam Parker and Jack Cotton, skipper Ben Davison and strikers Liam Papworth and Jake Gibson have all been requested to turn out for the squad.
