SKEGNESS United have swooped to add former Stamford players Miles Chamberlain and Danny Steadman to their squad for the title run in.

Miles, who captained Stamford at the beginning of the year, and Danny, who was instrumental in Stamford’s rise to the top of the Evo-Stik League Division One table earlier in the season, have decided to finish the season with United as they go in search of the league title.

Joint Manager Mark Hallam said: “It’s a massive coup for this football club to get two players of their quality at such a key time in the season.

“They had several offers from different clubs at higher levels and also in the Lincs League, but they know how ambitious we are and where we want to take this club so we are delighted they want to be a part of that.”
