A round up of the latest games in the Boston Saturday League.

Taylors Garages

Premier Division

Spilsby Town remain in touch at the top following a 3-2 home win against Woodhall Spa United. Jack Solomon hit two of the Spilsby goals while Dan Smith was also on target.

Woodhall replied through Ian (Jack) Draper and Jason Cooke.

Taylors Peugeot

Division One

Friskney were dealt a huge blow after just 20 seconds of their home clash against Coningsby when the visitors caught their opponents cold with the opening goal. Friskney never recovered from that early blow and it was 3-0 by half-time and the game was as good as over as a contest.

The result meant that Coningsby swapped places with their opponents in the top four. Final score 3-0.

Taylors Ford Division Two

A tight, evenly-fought game between Sibsey and Leverton, which was switched to Sheepgate, saw Leverton edge out a spirited Sibsey side thanks to two great goals from Dominic Goddard, with the second marking Leverton’s 100th league goal of the season. Final score 2-0.

Taylors Vauxhall

Division Three

Railway Athletic got back to winning ways last Saturday with a 9-1 home win against Friskney Reserves.

Liam Nimmo and Danny Woods both struck hat-tricks while Danny Clayton, Brandon Norman and Billy Shinn also got on the scoresheet.

Rippingale & Folkingham’s request to withdraw their reserves side from Division Three has been granted and previous matches were declared null and void resulting in the league record of many teams being amended accordingly.
