Penalty shoot-out exit for Alford boys

Boston JFC (A division) 2 -2 Alford Town FC (B division) Under 15s (aet) - 4-2 to Boston on penalties

Alford Town juniors put in a shift and a half at the weekend, coming back from 2-0 down to a respectable 2-1 half time score thanks to hard work, great team spirit and the skill of Donni Bailey.

After the interval the Alford youths were up for it from the off, although in the second half Boston were playing some good football and a good game ensued.

The Alford boys battled hard and eventually got a well deserved equaliser from new signing Parlak.

Alford finished full time play at 2-2 and at the end of extra time the score remained the same with both team’s showing sign’s of tiredness.

After a well fought game, the shoot out began with Denby and Bailey tucking their penalties away to make it 2-2 on penalties. Alford’s Briggs then had his effort saved and Langlois fired just over.

The match ended with a 4-2 win for Boston JFC.
