Skegness Town are preparing to welcome CGB Humbertherm to Burgh Road in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League on Saturday (KO 2pm).

The seasiders host the Fulstow-based Therm, having already beaten them twice in the group stages of the Supplementary Cup.

Indeed, they edged them out with a solitary Liam Parker goal at Burgh Road in September, followed by a 4-1 win at Fulstow the following month.

The Lilywhites go into the game hoping to extend their unbeaten league run to eight games.

However, they were left kicking their heels at the weekend when Ruston Sports failed to raise a team,

“We were disappointed to not have a game on Saturday,” said Town manager Nick Chapman.

“We wanted to keep the momentum going.”

But he is expecting a full squad for the Humbertherm visit.

“Everyone should be available,” said Chapman.

League leaders Sleaford Town Reserves travel to neighbours Skegness United, while second-placed Wyberton have a trip to Brigg Town Reserves, who have lost only once in their last 10 games in all competitions - at Burgh Road on December 12.
