Skegness Town Reserves had to settle for a point after conceding a last minute equaliser at Graves Park.
It was a scrappy first 20 minutes, but Kirton broke the deadlock midway through the half when the seasiders gave away possession cheaply at a throw-in and the home side counter-attacked.
The Lilywhites equalised before the break when a neat flick by Sam Walker found Grant Hughes, who made no mistake with a superb lob over the keeper.
Winger Michael Smith blazed over when well placed and John Jeffery was put through by Lucky Singh, only to have his effort saved by the home keeper.
Skegness began the second half in positive fashion and took the lead when Jake Bell struck from 12 yards.
James Bland missed two excellent chances to settle things, and Hughes was inches away from a Jeffery cross.
The seasiders were made to pay for these missed opportunities when Kirton equalised with seconds remaining.
Then deep into injury time a Kirton free kick was heading for the top corner when Daniel Simpson pulled off a superb save to keep the scores level.
Skegness Town Reserves: Daniel Simpson, Ben Etches, Damian Howland, Joe Errington, Jamie Epton, Michael Smith, Sam Walker, John Jeffery, Lucky Singh, Michael Parnham, Grant Hughes, James Bland, Jake Bell, Jake Chapman.
