Skegness United held their annual presentation evening at Bateman’s Brewery last Friday.

The event was attended by players present and past as the night had a dual purpose.

Not only was it an occasion to celebrate the player achievements throughout the season, it was also an opportunity to have a send-off for to manager Mark Hallam who is leaving the club to take up a full-time position with Norwich City FC and as such this was our way of having a send-off.

In a club statement, Skegness United thanked Mark for all his efforts and hard work over the past four, in which time the club secured one league trophy and two cups – “a fantastic record” – and wished him and his family all the best for their new life in Norwich.

Winning awards on the night were Manager’s Player Sean Chamberlain, Player’s Player Ross Muirhead, Young Player Luke Durdey, Top Goalscorer Kurt Crossley who also received an award for his 100th appearance.

The Adam Baxter Award went to Arron Scutt and Supporters’ Player of the Year was Alex Tittcomb. Jack McGuigan collected Clubman of the Year. A presentation was made to Mark Hallam and a special award went to Stephen Wilmer.
