First against fourth in league clash this weekend

It’s first against fourth in the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League on Saturday.

Leaders Skegness United will be hoping to take another step towards the title, while their opponents, Lincoln-based Ruston Sports, will be knocking on the door of the top three if they secure three points at the seaside.

Fifth placed Hykeham Town entertain Market Rasen Town, who will be looking to end a poor run of results at the Memorial Playing Fields.

Nettleham travel to basement club Boston Town Reserves, while across town Boston United Reserves host Supplementary Cup finalists Sleaford Town Reserves at York Street.

Grimsby Borough Reserves are in derby action with the visit of CGB Humbertherm, while Skegness Town welcome Lincoln United Reserves to Burgh Road.

On Tuesday the Lilywhites entertain Boston United Reserves, while the Therm make the short journey to Cleethorpes Town Reserves.

The League’s hopes of one of their sides lifting the Lincolnshire FA Junior Cup rest with Gainsborough Town, who play Moulton Harrox from the Peterborough Premier League in Tuesday night’s final at Sincil Bank, home of Lincoln City.

On Wednesday of next week (April 10) Hykeham Town and Ruston Sports have local bragging rights at stake as they cross swords, while Grimsby Borough Reserves have home advantage in their clash with Market Rasen Town.

Leaders Skegness United play Lincoln United Reserves under the Ashby Avenue floodlights.

On Thursday, Skegness Town entertain Horncastle Town (kick-off 6.30pm).
