Lincoln United’s NTR Stadium will host a quarter-final of the FA Inter League Cup.
The Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League have progressed to the last eight of the competition and will welcome the Humber Premier League to the Ashby Avenue ground on 25 January.
The match will feature the cream of Lincolnshire’s amateur footballers as they continue the quest to represent England in Europe.
Managed by Louth Town boss Paul Walden, the Lincolnshire squad will be hoping to improve on their quarter-final knock out they suffered at the hands of the Cheshire League on the same ground two years ago.
The League’s programme of fixtures has been postponed by its management committee in the hope of boosting the turnout for this important tie.
