SKEGNESS cricketer R. Badenhorst had two reasons to celebrate when the cream of Lincolnshire cricket gathered recently for their awards ceremony.
He shared the prizes for fielding catches and Onyx Man of the Match with N. Poundall of Hartsholme and W. Nel of Nettleham respectively.
The Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League joined forces once again with the County Cricket Club and Lincolnshire Cricket Ltd – formerly the Cricket Board – for the presentation night.
Nettleham were the inaugural winners of the Terry Bates Memorial Trophy, given in memory of the late league chairman and awarded to the club scoring the highest average pitch marks over the course of the season.
