Tri's sprint finishers

Eight members of Skegness Tri Club competed at Lincoln's David Lloyd Leisure Centre, which was host to the second triathlon in the East Midlands Sprint series.

The race started with a 400m hard swim, onto the bike for a 15-mile course which weaved through the village of Burton and climbs up one of the steepest hills in Lincoln.

The bike leg then travels through the village of Saxilby and back to David Lloyd for the second transition and out for the 3.1-mile run along the canal path.

Tri Club member Russ Parker was competing in an event near Brighton.

Steyning is a small picturesque market town at the foot of the South Downs National Park, where Russ completed an 800m pool swim, 22.4-mile rolling bike course and the five-mile run into the grounds of Wilton House in 1:59-35.
