Jarvis is successful at Trunch Lane lake match

CHAPEL Beach Angling Club held its latest match on Saturday.

The match was fished between 4pm and 8pm at Trunch Lane Boating Lake. It was a warm but cloudy night with a westerly wind and a moderate sea.

The overall winner of the match was Rick Jarvis with a weight of 5lb 3oz,

In second place came Paul Kennedy with a bag weight of 4lb 6oz and in third place came Paul Jecklin with a bag weight of 2lb 3/4oz,

Paul Jeckilin also took the prize for the biggest flat fish with his 1lb 2oz flounder and Paul Kennedy also took the prize money for the biggest round fish with his 13oz whiting.

The next match is on Saturday, October 13 from 3pm to 7pm at the Lookout.
