Tuesday, 9.25am - SKEGNESS Town's second string struggled to field a side at Rosebery Avenue, Boston, on Saturday, due to a number of outside pressures.

But the true clubmen rallied to make sure the fixture was fulfilled.

And they were rewarded with a superb result, proving yet again that when the chips are down the Lilywhites still command an unrivalled loyalty from a nucleus of players.

Not only did they register three precious points for the Skegness Towncause, but they gained bags of respect for their commitment to the club.

Skegness led 2-1 at half time before romping home at a canter.

On target for the seasiders were Sean Chamberlain (two), John Jeffery, Greg Barker and Troy Lonslow.
