NEWLY-crowned champions Skegness Town extended their lead at the top if the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League with a convincing win over CGB Humbertherm.

The seasiders agreed to bring the game forward by two days to accommodate the Fulstow-based 'Therm, whose young side were involved in Intermediate football later in the week.

Skegness took the lead ten minutes into the game when Paul Watts converted a penalty.

They had to wait until three minutes into the second half for their second, scored by Ben Davison.

Three goals in the last ten minutes, from Dan Starkey, Jason Callaby and another Davison strike completed the rout.
