Friday - SKEGNESS Town open the defence of their Lincolnshire League title on Saturday when they entertain Grimsby Borough Reserves at Burgh Road, kick-off 3pm.
The seasiders start the campaign with their third consecutive championship in their sights, having completed a successful round of pre-season friendlies.
In midweek the Lilywhites beat a plucky Franco's side from Boston 6-1 with goals from Greg Brown (three), Dan Starkey (two) and Dan Tuplin.
Goals from Booth and Josh Whittam earned the seasiders a 2-1 win over neighbours Hogsthorpe.
But the serious stuff starts this weekend when Borough, whose first team play in the Northern Counties East League, travel to Skegness for the season's opener.
It was Borough's first team who beat Skegness on penalties after the Lincolnshire Junior Cup Final finished 3-3 in May.
