New 6-a-side for Skegness

Tuesday - SOCCERSIXES, a company specialising in the organisation of small-sided football, are bringing a 6-a-side league to Skegness and the surrounding community in June.
The league will be based at the Skegness Grammar School astroturf.

The league will be launched with £1,000 prize money on offer!

The community league is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, June 8, and will run every Sunday from 6-8pm on full size astroturf pitch which will be divided into two six-a-side pitches. The will be 16 teams, two divisions of eight teams with a promotion and relegation system.

Teams will play an intense 30 minute match each week with a qualified referee. The league will cost just £3 per player and teams entering will have the chance to win a huge array of awards including; trophies or cash for winners and runners-up, player of the season, and a fair play award.

Teams will also have the opportunity of playing against other teams from leagues across England in Soccersixes' national cup.

Anyone over the age of 16 can enter and you do not need to be an organised or established team, you may simply be a group of friends, work colleagues or mates from the pub. The league will be fully affiliated to the FA.
