Lincoln United have chance to close the gap on Skegness Town

Thursday - WITH leaders Skegness Town in county cup action, second placed Lincoln United Reserves have a chance to close the gap at the top of the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League.
They travel to Grantham Town Reserves in search of three points, although they will have to win by 13 clear goals to dislodge the Lilywhites at this attempt.


Boston Town Reserves are the only other top five side in league action and they could make ground on the leaders with victory at Horncastle.


Like their opponents, Sleaford Town Reserves will be looking for their first league victory of the season when they travel to Grimsby Borough Reserves, while Lincoln Moorlands Railway Reserves hope to climb into the top half of the table when they entertain Cleethorpes Town Reserves.


There are second round ties in the Lincolnshire Junior Cup for CGB Humbertherm, Hykeham Town, Louth United, Ruston Sports and Skegness Town.
