Monday, 12.14pm - FOLLOWING his fantastic start to the season last week, Willoughby rider Peter Hickman is eager for more of the same with Team Ultimate Racing at Oulton Park on bank holiday Monday, May 5.
There he will contest round two of the series, hoping to build on his with a fifth place finish in round one of the Metzeler National Superstock championship at Thruxton.

Hicky was a last minute entry into the National series after his plans to race in Europe fell through. A frantic few days saw him secure backing from a new sponsor and Team Ultimate Racing was born.

The bike was put together within the space of less than two weeks by Peter and his hard working father and they were pleasantly surprised to be competitive from the off resulting in a fifth place at Thruxton.

"I can't wait to get back on the race track," said Hicky. "I love the undulating Cheshire circuit and have produced good results there in the past. There is no reason why I cannot again be challenging for a podium finish at the weekend."

Free practice and qualifying take place on Saturday and Sunday ahead of the 15-lap Superstock race which lines up for at start at 11.55am on Monday.
